The Kansspelautoriteits regulatory approach does not only consider on the classical compliance areas as applicable to iGaming businesses (as there are AML, Data Protection & Regulatory Compliance), but has a strong focus on preventing players from self-inflicted harm, in terms of the mandatory implementation of an Addiction Prevention framework.

Requiring all licensees to provide all their personnel with specific trainings, enabling the KSA licensed operations to abide by mandatory player protection obligations and the implementation of state-of-the-art best practice approaches, fulfilling the Dutch regulatory requirements needs a competent and tailored approach for every licensee and a comprehensive risk management framework.
